Smart Money Flow

What it is: An MFI‑based (shifted around zero) capital flow tracker that highlights buy/sell pressure with a dynamic gradient.

How it works:

  • MFI(Length) − 50, then smoothed; plotted around 0.
  • Dynamic bullish/bearish averages track recent positive/negative flow.
  • Gradient color strengthens as pressure builds.

Read it:

  • > 0 and above its bullish average = institutional support bias.
  • < 0 and below its bearish average = sustained sell pressure.
  • Crossing zero can preface momentum shifts; stronger gradients suggest follow‑through.

Use it:

  • Confirmation layer: require flow alignment with oscillator direction.
  • Filter: avoid longs when flow < 0 (and shorts when > 0), unless a major reversal setup forms.
