Indicator Overlays

A focused guide to each visual module you can toggle under “📊 Visual Indicators & Display.” Use them selectively to control plot count and keep the chart readable. Each overlay can also act as a filter via the “[Filter]” options in Presets.
  • Smart Auto: Prioritizes Smart Trail + Trend Catcher
  • Essential Only: Keeps Smart Trail + AI Moving Average
  • Manual Control: You choose overlays individually

Smart Trail

What it shows: An adaptive trailing baseline with neon fill that flips color with trend (cyan up, pink down).

How it’s built: ATR-based bands with a performance-weighted switch; includes an AMA (AI Moving Average) companion line.

Use cases:

  • Trail stops on runners
  • Simple, low-plot trend backbone in any timeframe

Tips:

  • In Essential Only mode, Smart Trail remains available even if other visuals are suppressed.
  • Enable “Trailing Stop Loss” to auto-sync SL with Smart Trail during active trades.
  • Filter behavior: When “Smart Trail [Filter]” is active, signals only pass when trail direction agrees.

Trend Catcher

What it shows: A clean, single-line trend state with robust bullish/bearish color logic.

How it’s built: Pulls an underlying line + a flexible color detector; bullish = electric blue, bearish = purple-pink.

Use cases:

  • Fast read on bias without cloud clutter
  • Works well with scalping and intraday entries

Tips:

  • Great partner to Smart Trail for a minimal, two-signal confluence.
  • Filter behavior: “Trend Catcher [Filter]” permits signals only when the line is bullish for longs or bearish for shorts.

Trend Tracer

What it shows: Circular markers (dots) that trace momentum turns and flow.

How it’s built: Direction derived from a proprietary tracer; dots are cyan when trend/momentum is friendly and pink otherwise.

Use cases:

  • Timing layer for entries/exits
  • Spotting shifts during consolidations

Tips:

  • Keep enabled on lower timeframes to avoid late entries.
  • Filter behavior: “Trend Tracer [Filter]” requires bullish dots for longs; non-bullish for shorts.

Neo Cloud (Enhanced Ichimoku)

What it shows: Tenkan, Kijun, Senkou A/B with neon cloud fills; optional crossover markers.

How it’s built: ATR-aware smoothing; spans colored by relative A vs B; crossovers plotted as circles.

Use cases:

  • Swing and position trading
  • Bias confirmation and pullback zones

Tips:

  • If plot count is tight, keep only spans and crossovers; disable other heavy visuals first (Sessions, multi-fills elsewhere).
  • Filter behavior: “Neo Cloud [Filter]” checks that cloud momentum (A vs B) agrees with the signal direction.

Reversal Zones

What it shows: Mean-reversion channels with inner/outer bands and gradient fills (overbought/oversold zones).

How it’s built: Ehlers-style smoothing (SuperSmoother, Gaussian, Butterworth, etc.) + volatility bands.

Use cases:

  • Contrarian entries at extremes
  • Take-profit guidance in ranging markets

Tips:

  • Turn on for Scalper/Contrarian styles; keep off in strong trends to reduce noise and save plots.
  • Filter behavior: Use Contrarian Signal Mode or add “[Filter]” layers to demand extra confluence before reversing.

AI Moving Average (AMA)

What it shows: An adaptive moving average that blends trend and performance feedback.

How it’s built: Uses the same performance index driving Smart Trail for smoother, more “informed” MA placement.

Use cases:

  • Clean structure line for pullbacks
  • Additional SL/TP reference when TP/SL Visualization is On

Tips:

  • Always available in “Essential Only” mode together with Smart Trail.

Trading Sessions (Optional)

What it shows: New York and London session ranges with neon-tinted boxes and optional dividers.

Use cases:

  • Volatility windows
  • Session highs/lows as intraday targets

Tips:

  • Disable to save 4+ plots if nearing the 64-plot limit.
  • Keep labels minimal to preserve clarity.

Overlay + Filter Confluence

You can run overlays visually and enforce them as filters independently.

“[Preset]” toggles visuals and style choices; “[Filter]” adds validation without cluttering the chart.

Examples:

  • Trend Trader [Preset]: Smart Trail + Trend Catcher visuals, Confirmation mode
  • Scalper [Preset]: Reversal Zones on, gradient candles, faster sensitivity
  • Neo Cloud [Filter]: Signals must agree with cloud momentum even if Neo Cloud visuals are off

Performance and Plot Count Tips

Prioritize Smart Trail + Trend Catcher for a clean, high-signal core.

If plot warning appears:

  • Switch Plot Management to Smart Auto or Essential Only
  • Disable Sessions and Reversal Zones first
  • Keep Neo Cloud minimal (spans + crossovers only)

ML Filter runs independently of visuals—use it to improve quality without adding plot load.

Quick Recommendations

  • Scalping (M1–M5): Smart Trail + Trend Tracer; optional Trend Catcher; Reversal Zones for mean-reversion scalps.
  • Intraday (M15–H1): Smart Trail + Trend Catcher; add Trend Tracer for timing; Neo Cloud off unless swing bias matters.
  • Swing (H4–D): Neo Cloud + Smart Trail; minimal extras; use AMA for pullbacks.
  • Contrarian: Reversal Zones + Contrarian Signal Mode; Trend Tracer for timing; keep ML Confidence threshold moderate.
